Active involvement from a volunteer Board of Directors

The Board of Directors for the Delta Children’s Home is actively involved in the lives of the families, providing additional activities for the children.  Some of these activities include birthday parties, additional clothing, fees for baseball teams, sports camps, and piano lessons. 

The members of the Board of Directors typically serve a single three-year term and are appointed to the Board by the presiding judge of Dunklin County.  Members of the Board serve on a volunteer basis and receive no compensation for their service to DCH.  The Dunklin County Juvenile Officer and the circuit manager for 35th Circuit of the Missouri Children’s Division serve as ex-oficio members of the DCH Board.
